Solutions Exchange

AgThrive in partnership with the International Livestock Research Institute (with funding from the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation) is developing a pipeline of investable livestock solutions from business, research and development that support climate adaptation and resilience, food security and sustainable land use in Ethiopia, Kenya and Tanzania. At the same time, we are building relationships with donors and investors with an interest in sustainable livestock investing. Ultimately, we will link investable solutions with investors to drive more finance to the sector.

Overview

Based on careful selection of investible livestock solutions, catalyzed by gender intentional capacity development and aligned to donor investment priorities, we seek to ensure that more funds flow into the livestock sector over a three year period.

Solutions that align to government livestock strategies, with proven potential for impact and scale and built on the basis of sound research and evidence will be selected. these must be backed by teams with solid leadership that has demonstrated clear investment cases.
